Project Manager- Mechanical HVAC or Plumbing (Hybrid)

Commercial Mechanical Construction | HVAC & Plumbing
Location: Hagerstown / Frederick, MD OR Sterling, VA Area

Overview

We are seeking experienced Project Managers to lead commercial mechanical construction projects focused on HVAC and plumbing systems.

This role is responsible for managing projects from preconstruction through completion, ensuring schedule, budget, and quality targets are met.

We are open to multiple strong candidates across both locations.

Project Scope

• Commercial HVAC & Plumbing projects
• Mechanical construction scope: $5M – $30M+
• Managing multiple projects depending on size and complexity

Key Responsibilities

• Manage projects from kickoff through completion
• Oversee budgets, cost tracking, and forecasting
• Develop and maintain project schedules
• Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, and vendors
• Manage RFIs, submittals, and change orders
• Maintain strong client relationships
• Ensure projects meet safety, quality, and performance standards

Qualifications

• Experience managing commercial construction projects
• HVAC or mechanical construction experience preferred
• Procore experience preferred
• Strong understanding of project financials and scheduling
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Degree preferred but not required

Compensation & Work Structure
