Investigations Case Manager

Location: Georgetown, Myrtle Beach, and/or Conway

Department: Pre-Litigation

Reports To: Pre-Litigation Director

Position Overview

The Investigations Case Manager at the Lovely Law Firm is responsible for the early-stage development of personal injury cases. This role focuses on client intake, fact-gathering, and case setup, ensuring each file is properly built, documented, and positioned for successful progression. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and skilled in gathering critical information quickly and accurately.

Key Responsibilities

Case Intake & Investigation

  • Conduct detailed client interviews to gather facts related to incidents, injuries, and damagesย 
  • Initiate insurance claims and verify coverage, adjuster, and claim detailsย 
  • Collect and secure key evidence (police reports, photos, witness information, statements)ย 
  • Preserve all necessary evidence
  • Complete initial client contact within 24 hours of case assignmentย 

Client Communication

  • Serve as the primary client contact during the investigation phaseย 
  • Clearly guide clients through the intake process and next stepsย 
  • Gather and document critical information, including:ย 
  • Medical treatment statusย 
  • Property damage detailsย 
  • Lost wages and employment informationย 
  • Photos and supporting documentationย 
  • Maintain consistent follow-up to obtain missing or incomplete informationย 

Case Setup & Documentation

  • Open, organize, and maintain case files in the case management systemย 
  • Ensure timely requests for initial records (medical, incident reports, etc.)ย 
  • Accurately document all case activity and communicationsย 
  • Identify potential liens, prior claims, and additional involved parties earlyย 
  • Prepare files for handoff to the Case Management or Demand teamย 

Coordination & Support

  • Collaborate with Pre-Litigation Director and attorneys to review findings and determine case directionย 
  • Schedule initial attorney-client calls and assist with case evaluation needsย 
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth case onboardingย
