Live-In Innkeeper – Coast of North Carolina

Historic 11-room boutique inn located on beautiful coast of North Carolina's Outer Banks. We are seeking an energetic, hospitality-focused couple to join our team as Live-In Innkeepers. This is more than a job—it's a lifestyle opportunity for a couple who enjoys creating memorable guest experiences, working together, and living in a coastal community.

About the Role

As Innkeepers, you will be the face of the inn and play a key role in delivering exceptional hospitality. We pride ourselves on personalized service, homemade food, attention to detail, and creating meaningful experiences for our guests. We are looking for an enthusiastic couple who thrive in a fast paced environment and are open to new ideas and creating a personalized experience for our guests. Our guests leave feeling like they are family.

Responsibilities

- Prepare, bake, and serve homemade breakfasts each morning
- Create afternoon snacks, charcuterie, and guest food offerings
- Welcome guests and oversee check-ins/check-outs
- Build relationships with guests and provide personalized recommendations for local attractions, dining, and activities
- Coordinate and assist with special events, concerts, and guest experiences
- Oversee housekeeping operations and maintain high cleanliness standards
- Supervise and support staff while fostering a positive team environment
- Assist with inventory, organization, and daily inn operations
- Help develop and implement new guest services, packages, and experiences
- Maintain the warm, welcoming atmosphere that defines The Atlantic Inn

Ideal Qualifications

- Previous innkeeping, bed & breakfast, hotel, or hospitality management experience required
- Strong cooking, baking, and food preparation skills, including sourdough and from-scratch cooking
- Excellent guest service and communication skills. We like to go beyond for our guests.
- Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
- Positive leadership style and ability to manage a team
- Creative mindset with a willingness to contribute and implement new ideas
- Comfortable working in a hands-on environment where no two days are the same
- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with ownership
