Job description

Operations Manager Ultra-Luxury Private Resort | Caribbean Compensation
  • Base Salary: $60,000 / year ($5,000/month)
  • Housing Allowance + Food Allowance
  • Insurance
  • Relocation Assistance
Role Overview

Serves as the #2 on property at an ultra-luxury, all-inclusive private resort, reporting directly to the General Manager. This is a hands‑on, guest‑facing leadership role overseeing daily operations across Rooms, Guest Relations, Food & Beverage, and Spa. A clear path to General Manager exists for the right candidate as the role evolves. Start is immediate, pending work permit processing (approx. 2 months).

Key Deliverables
  • Guest experience ownership — lead guest‑facing service delivery across all departments at a private, high‑touch resort operating at full occupancy whenever guests are in‑house
  • Cross‑departmental oversight — manage Rooms, Guest Relations, F&B, and Spa operations; Engineering/Maintenance is supported by a separate regional director, requiring less direct involvement
  • Hands‑on leadership — maintain a highly visible, active presence across an extensive, low‑density property requiring significant mobility and stamina
  • Operational continuity — ensure consistent five‑star service standards across an expansive, amenity‑rich resort layout
  • Flexibility for peak periods — manage extended hours during full‑occupancy guest stays; availability for long, non‑standard hours is mandatory during these periods
Required Qualifications
  • Strong background in Rooms operations (F&B leadership is already covered at the GM level)
  • Experience in boutique luxury hospitality — not large‑scale/high‑volume hotel operations
  • Physically active and comfortable with significant walking across a large, low‑density property
  • Experience in Asian luxury hospitality markets strongly preferred
  • Caribbean experience a plus but not required
  • Demonstrated readiness to take on a General Manager role in the near term

Client identity withheld pending mutual candidate interest. Full benefits shared upon progression.
