Margaritaville Resort Lake Tahoe is seeking an experienced Restaurant General Manager to lead JWB Prime Steak & Seafood, our signature dining destination offering elevated cuisine, exceptional service, and a vibrant atmosphere in the heart of South Lake Tahoe.

As Restaurant General Manager, you will be responsible for the overall success of the restaurant, driving financial performance, cultivating a high-performing team, and delivering memorable guest experiences that keep guests coming back. What You'll Do
  • Lead all daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional guest service and seamless execution.
  • Drive revenue growth and profitability through strong financial management, labor optimization, and cost controls.
  • Develop, coach, and inspire a team of managers and associates while fostering a culture of engagement, accountability, and service excellence.
  • Maintain the highest standards of food quality, beverage execution, cleanliness, and presentation.
  • Monitor guest feedback and implement strategies to continually enhance the dining experience.
  • Partner with culinary and hotel leadership to execute promotions, special events, and marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service standards.
  • Oversee scheduling, payroll, inventory controls, and operational reporting.
  • Recruit, interview, train, and retain top hospitality talent.
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of progressive food and beverage leadership experience, including full-service restaurant management.
  • Proven success managing high-volume restaurant operations with full P&L responsibility.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience overseeing labor management, cost controls, budgeting, forecasting, and profitability.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and building high-performing teams.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Experience with scheduling, payroll, and labor management systems.
  • Experience with MICROS POS or similar restaurant management platforms.
  • ServSafe Certification preferred.
  • TIPS or CARE Certification preferred.
  • CPR Certification preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and alcohol compliance standards.
