Job description

Overview
The Resort Housekeeper plays an important role in maintaining a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests. This position focuses on preparing and cleaning guest rooms and resort accommodations to ensure they meet company cleanliness standards and provide a positive experience for every visitor.
Responsibilities
Primary duties of this position include:
  • Clean and prepare guest rooms and resort accommodations to meet company and Department of Health cleanliness standards
  • Review the daily room assignment list, including arrivals and departures, and gather the necessary supplies to complete assigned rooms
  • Identify and report maintenance concerns, damaged items, or equipment issues so they can be addressed promptly
  • Maintain quality cleaning standards while completing assignments within expected timeframes
  • Turn in any lost items discovered in guest rooms according to established lost-and-found procedures
  • Coordinate with housekeeping team members and other resort departments to support efficient operations
  • Perform detailed cleaning tasks such as dusting furniture, vacuuming floors, making beds, changing linens, and sanitizing bathrooms and kitchen areas
  • Restock guest room items and amenities to ensure rooms are fully prepared for incoming guests
  • Provide friendly and professional interactions with guests and fellow team members
  • Assist with additional tasks or assignments as directed by management
