Job Summary

The Customer Service Supervisor includes the following: supervises, coordinates, and controls airport cargo service functions; monitors the quality and quantity of work performance; ensures compliance with Company rules and regulation and Company safety standards; trains subordinates. Areas of responsibility include all Cargo Service functions, Operations, and Weight and Balance. Proactively monitors the work of assigned employees to ensure that customer satisfaction, safety, security, quality and employee relations meet or exceed standards. Ensure they administer practices in a fair and equitable manner, where all employees, customers, vendors and other third parties are treated with respect. Read, understand and clarify the implementation of the site-specific security plan and ensure that all WFS staff are issued with a relevant company ID and that they are required to display this identity badge. Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Compute rates, percentages, and interpret bar graphs.
  • Interprets an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Work with minimal supervision.
  • Write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Cognitive skills to set priorities and use independent judgment.
  • Reliable and predictable attendance.
Minimum Requirements
  • Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Proficient communication, written and verbal, in English.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays, and days off.
  • Able to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Math skills are sufficient to correctly add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
