Patient Care Connect Coordinator

Pay Range: $22hr - $30hr

The Patient Care Connect Coordinator will support patient scheduling and access operations within a fast-paced healthcare environment. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, coordinating patient appointments, and ensuring smooth communication between patients and healthcare providers in an onsite call center and clinic setting.

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Candidates must be comfortable working in a call center environment.
  • Experience in healthcare or medical office settings.
  • Experience with high-volume patient scheduling or patient access coordination.
  • Strong customer service and patient communication skills.
  • Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems.
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced clinic environment.
  • Professional and polished demeanor.

Experience:

  • 1–2+ years of healthcare scheduling, patient access, or front office experience preferred.
  • Experience in call center or high-volume scheduling environments.
  • Experience supporting patient access and appointment coordination.
  • Experience working in clinic or specialty healthcare environments preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and schedule patient appointments in a high-volume healthcare environment.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to patients and clinic staff.
  • Communicate appointment details, updates, and scheduling information accurately.
  • Maintain accurate patient scheduling information within EMR/EHR systems.
  • Support patient access operations and improve patient experience.
  • Handle inbound calls and scheduling requests in a professional manner.

Should Have:

  • Bilingual Spanish language skills highly preferred.

  • Knowledge of insurance verification and referrals.
  • Prior access center or patient navigation experience.
