We are growing our Cardiac PreOp & Recovery team to support increasing procedural volume from the Cath Lab and Electrophysiology (EP) services. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape a new, expanding, and evolving unit dedicated to caring for cardiac procedural patients.

What You Will Do

  • 0.6 FTE (48 hours per pay period)
  • Monday-Friday, 8 and 10hour shifts
    • Hours between: 8:00 AM-7:30 PM
    • Occasional post shift on call hours from 7:30 PM-11:00 PM
    • Hours may flex based on departmental needs
  • Provide comprehensive preoperative and postprocedure recovery care for cardiac patients undergoing procedures such as:
    • Cardiac Heart Catheterizations
    • Cardioversions
    • Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE)
    • Device Implantations (Pacemakers, ICDs)
    • EP Ablations
    • Watchman Procedures

This role offers a meaningful blend of patient prep and recovery care within a fastgrowing cardiac program.

What You Will Need

  • Current RN license (Wisconsin)
  • Minimum Associate Degree in Nursing
  • BLS required; ACLS required within 3 months of hire
  • Minimum 2 years RN experience with preferred cardiac patient care experience or minimum 1 year RN experience with strong cardiac patient care experience
