Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP RN with a WI or compact license, requiring at least 2 years of experience and EP lab expertise.

Details
  • Work in a Cardiac Cath Lab and Electrophysiology (EP) Lab setting, including hybrid OR cases
  • Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, with varying start times (0700-1530 or 0730-1600) and occasional late stays 1-2 times per week
  • Call shift scheduled 0830-1700
  • On-call responsibilities include one weekday shift Monday-Thursday and call every 4th weekend from Friday 1700 to Monday 0700
  • Call response time requirement of 30 minutes to be lab-ready
  • Epic EMR experience required
Requirements
  • Active WI RN license or compact license required
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
  • EP lab experience required
  • Epic charting system experience required
  • Skills required include device implants, ablations, EP studies, pacemaker/defibrillator lead extraction and removal, baseline measurements, cardiac ablation, cardioversion, conduction studies, scrub procedures, and interpretation/management of dysrhythmias
  • Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred
  • Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
Additional Information
  • Scrubs are provided
  • Must be clean-shaven to ensure proper mask seal for respirator fit testing; no medical or religious exemptions are accepted
  • CAPRs and PAPRs are not provided, and personal CAPRs/PAPRs are not permitted
  • Failure to comply with fit testing requirements will result in cancellation
  • Candidates living within 70 miles of the facility are considered local and are not accepted for this position
  • Travelers may not work more than 1 year at this facility; a 6-month break is required before returning
  • First-time travelers are accepted if trained in EP
