Registered Nurse – Cardiac Services / Tele RN

Compensation: $32 to $44 per hour



Position Purpose

The Cardiac Services RN provides patient care and monitoring for individuals undergoing diagnostic cardiac testing and related procedures. This role involves patient assessment, EKG monitoring, performance of noninvasive exercise tests, preparation of results, and patient education. As part of the resource pool, you will provide flexible coverage to support the Cardiac Services team and ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes.


Minimum Education

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (required; BSN preferred)


Experience

  • Entry level applicants welcome
  • 3 months to 1 year of experience preferred
  • Previous experience in cardiac services, stress lab, telemetry, or critical care is a plus


Licenses / Certifications

  • Active RN license in Wisconsin and/or Illinois (based on assignment)
  • Current BLS certification (required, or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire)
  • Current ACLS certification (required, or ability to obtain within 6 weeks of hire)


Skills & Abilities

  • Knowledge of EKG interpretation and cardiac monitoring
  • Ability to recognize and respond promptly to cardiac changes or emergencies
  • Strong technical skills in performing stress tests and other non-invasive diagnostics
  • Effective communication with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary care team
