Travel CCU RN jobs at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, Maine place you in a 250-bed teaching hospital. The facility features 8 beds in the cardiac intensive care unit (CICU) for post-op CABG, AVR, MVR, vascular and endovascular surgery, post cardiac interventional service including ECMO, heart failure requiring Impella device support, angioplasty, and stent placement. 12 bed Stepdown/PCU cares for patients with the above diagnoses plus sepsis, respiratory and multi-system failure, diabetic ketoacidosis, encephalopathy, and post-op general surgical patients needing a higher level of care. Lewiston is home to attractions like the Bates College Museum of Art and the Androscoggin Riverwalk. Portland, Maine is about a 40-minute drive south and offers the Portland Museum of Art and Old Port district for shopping and dining. To qualify, you need current nursing licensure, recent critical care experience, and proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Epic experience is preferred. Strong assessment, teamwork, and patient care skills are recommended.
