Job description

Cardio Partners, a division of Sarnova, is a national leader in emergency prevention and an ardent advocate in the fight against Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA). Cardio Partners offers complete cardiac solutions to our customers including equipment, consultation, end-to-end training, and program management. As an authorized master distributer of all FDA-approved defibrillator devices, the company provides customers the best-in-class value for new and recertified equipment. Customers' emergency preparedness needs are met via Cardio Partners' nationwide CPR training courses and state-of-the-art program management services.
For Non-Central Ohio based candidates this is a remote opportunity. Candidates must reside in the United States and be willing to work EST hours. Candidates who require visa sponsorship/transfer now or in the future cannot be considered.
Summary:
The Data Analyst will play a key role in managing and analyzing data across Sarnova's IT systems, supporting SQL-based reporting, web platform administration and configuration, and customer implementation projects. This position requires strong technical skills in SQL, Power BI dashboard development, and the ability to configure and maintain web-based platforms to ensure seamless customer experiences.

Your work will enable informed decision-making, optimize workflows, and ensure that Sarnova's technology solutions meet both internal and external stakeholder needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize complex SQL queries for reporting, analytics, and data validation
  • Design and build interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI, ensuring data accuracy and usability
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to support customer implementation projects, including data migration, configuration, and testing
  • Perform data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights for business stakeholders
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance with security and privacy standards
  • Document processes, configurations, and data workflows for internal knowledge sharing
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues across systems and integrations
  • Participate in cross-functional projects to enhance reporting capabilities and system performance
  • Additional duties as assigned

Skills/Experience Required:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field required
  • 4-6 years of experience in data analysis and reporting within IT or enterprise environments
  • Advanced SQL skills (complex queries, joins, stored procedures, performance tuning)
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI (data modeling, DAX, dashboard design)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills for working with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience with customer implementation projects (data migration, onboarding) preferred
  • Familiarity with ETL tools, APIs, and data integration concepts preferred
  • Knowledge of healthcare or regulated environments preferred
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and data warehousing preferred
