Card Services Collection Agent

About your role:

As a Card Services Collection Agent, you will be responsible for contacting the proper party (manually or via automatic dialing system), describing the debt and soliciting payment arrangements for the account in compliance with applicable regulations and established policy and procedures.

What you'll do:

  • Work to establish rapport to overcome objections and negotiate payment of the debt.
  • Detail all discussions and actions in the collections system or database, confirm payment and finalize the call.
  • Ensure successful and timely completion of assigned cases.
  • Clearly detail issues for resolution.

Experience you'll need to have:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior call center experience.

Experience that would be great to have:

  • Prior collections experience.
  • Knowledge of collections regulations including the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
