Job description

The Role

As a Product Designer on Rips, our collectibles trading card app, you’ll collaborate closely with Rips’s Product Manager to shape the future of our mobile and web experience. Your work will build on top of our existing design system and continue to shape one of the fastest growing apps in the App Store. You’ll help deliver a web version of Rips and set the foundation for future web and Android apps in our gaming ecosystem. Expect fast cycles of ideating and iterations as you push the boundaries of what it means to be the #1 app in our category.

What You’ll Do
  • Ship product design end‑to‑end for Rips: user research, flows, wireframes, prototypes, high‑fidelity UI, and production‑ready assets.

  • Iterate on a mature design system to keep Rips cohesive and evolving.

  • Create interaction patterns that feel native to iOS and scale to web/Android as we expand.

  • Design clear, intuitive surfaces for consumer experiences—especially game‑like mechanics and collectibles.

  • Partner with engineering and product to validate ideas quickly and move from concept to live features in days, not weeks.

  • Contribute to brand moments in‑product (illustration, motion, micro‑copy) that elevate delight and clarity.

Qualifications
  • 1–2+ years of product design experience on consumer-facing iOS apps. Bonus if you’ve worked on gaming, real-money, or other interactive entertainment apps.

  • Expertise designing for iOS/Apple Platform and a desire to work cross-platform as we expand to Android and web.

  • Demonstrated ability to design for consumer engagement (game loops, progression, rewards) and turn complex concepts into delightful user flows.

  • A passion for building delightful user experiences with motion, illustration, animations, and high-quality interaction design.

  • Tenacity, pragmatism, and scrappiness — you value high degrees of agency and know how to prioritize the most impactful work based on data and user feedback.

Why Triumph?
  • High growth. Build a high-scale consumer platform that touches gaming, finance, and social with the autonomy to set our web direction.

  • High agency. Small, high-impact engineering team that is growing rapidly with significant opportunity for leadership and growth.

  • High energy. Passionate team who are proud of our work and velocity (16x year over year growth).

  • Competitive salary and benefits. $400/mo lunch credit, healthcare, vision, dental, 401k, etc.

Our team gathers 5 days a week at Triumph’s headquarters at Levi’s Plaza in San Francisco.

Compensation Range: $140K - $210K
