Our platform celebrates the moments and icons that shape the sports world, creating deeper connections for passionate sports enthusiasts. In our office you'll experience:

  • Flexible Working Hours
  • An Innovative Atmosphere
  • A Highly Connected Team
  • An Inclusive and Culture
  • Opportunities to grow at a thriving company from the ground floor

Position Overview

We’re seeking a high-energy On-Air Sports Card Breaker to become an integral part of our broadcast team. As a charismatic entertainer, you’ll lead sports card breaks—opening product live on camera, interacting with our audience while delivering a trustworthy and memorable experience for customers.

This role is perfect for someone with deep sports knowledge and the ability to connect & engage with a live audience in a fast-paced environment. Whether you're engaging with longtime collectors or newcomers to the hobby, your enthusiasm and professionalism will set the tone for each stream. You’ll also play a key role in content creation across our proprietary social media platforms and help represent Sports Illustrated Collect at industry events.

What You’ll Do

  • Host and lead live group breaks across Fanatics Live and new expansion channels.
  • Open and showcase sports card products on camera with energy and accuracy.
  • Clearly explain break formats and ensure all participants understand break structure and receive their correct cards. Maintain fairness and transparency in every break.
  • Engage and grow our audience by actively managing the live chat and encouraging participation.
  • Use your sports knowledge and commentary to keep streams exciting and informative.
  • Handle basic transactions and online tools to support order flow and inventory tracking.
  • Address participant questions or disputes with professionalism and clarity.
  • Help drive sales while enhancing the viewer experience. Build your brand while folding into our ecosystem.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Comfortable and thriving hosting large live audiences.
  • Passionate about sports and pop culture—up to date on teams, players, and league trends.
  • Excellent communicator—clear, engaging, and professional on camera.
  • Trustworthy, detail-oriented and able to manage fast-paced workflows.
  • Proficient in basic math and computer skills (Google Sheets, Docs, etc.).
  • Willing to learn and coachable in a fast-moving, team-focused environment.
  • Able to work in an evolving environment with rolling hours.
  • Prior experience in sports casting, live-streaming or customer service is a plus.
  • Broadcasting or content creation background preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED required.

What We Offer

  • A competitive industry salary with high sales commissions & yearly target bonus potential.
  • Paid time off (after 6 months of employment).
  • Employee discount on products.
  • Flexible schedule with day or night shifts.
  • Opportunities for professional growth and increased on-air presence.
  • Fun, casual work environment in a friendly, energetic team.

Schedule Requirements

Full-time position (8–10 hour shifts, 4–5 streams per week)

Evening and weekend availability required

In-person role based in Rochester, NY (must be able to reliably commute or relocate)

Sports Illustrated Collect is an equal opportunity employer.
