Hyatt Centric Congress Avenue Austin is looking for a Security Officer - Part Time to join our Security team!

The Security Officer is responsible for the oversight of the safety and security of the hotel guests and employees. This person will followsafety and security standards and complete incident reports as required.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Responsible for responding to guest and employee emergencies
Vendor, guest, and contractor check in/check out
Logging and dispatching lost and found
Receiving and dispatching mail and deliveries
Incident and accident response and reporting
Providing basic first aid
Implementing safety and security protocols and procedures for the hotel.
Regular monitoring and walking of hotel premises.
Maintain outstanding customer service in all interactions with guests and colleagues

Refined verbal and written communication skills
Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays and overnights
Proficient in basic computer skills
Previous security experience preferred
Level 2 Security Guard Card Preferred
