As a Security Officer Car Rental Company in Newport Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as a driving patrol officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control needs. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the move, delivering strong customer service, and working with a team that values being agile, reliable, innovative, and acting with integrity.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial services location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate contacts.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including lobby areas, parking areas, entrances, exits, and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and support orderly entry and exit procedures in accordance with location protocols.
  • Assist with monitoring alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems, and communicate status updates, incidents, and/or maintenance concerns to site leadership as needed.

Minimum Requirements:
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
