Job description

The Design Coordinator also support prospective buyers in providing design center support, primarily over the weekend during peak ‘busy’ times or business hours. This position would be as needed and paid per appointment.

OVERVIEW OF YOUR DAILY TASKS:

· Build rapport with prospective buyers, determine buyers’ housing needs and interests, demonstrate our model home and/structural and upgrade items at the community level.

· Assisting clients with making selections to customize their home.

· Entering customer information/selections into Brix systems.

· Develop a thorough knowledge of home features, options pricing, and design center selections and effectively communicate those to prospects and buyers.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE TO HELP YOU SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

  • Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Prior design related experience with a home builder a plus.
  • Brix experience a plus.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Detail oriented, self-disciplined, and organized with focus on excellent follow-up.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Ability to deal with conflict & set expectations.
  • Great listening skills and creative problem solving with the ability to provide a solution.
  • Must be a team-player with an enthusiastic attitude.
  • Effective communication skills and a sense of urgency.
  • Good time management skills

Qualifications

· Work scheduled would potentially include weekends.

· Must have reliable car and driver’s license to visit different communities.
