Job description

SUMMARY:

The RightStart Apprentice is a full-tiume entry-level technician in training, participating in a 12-month structured program designed to develop technical skills in collision repair. Working closely with a Mentor, the Apprentice gains hands-on experience, completes I-CAR and OEM cerifications, and steadily increases production hours. By the end of the program, the Apprentice is expected to independently produce 40 flat-rate hours per week.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partner with assigned Mentor ro complete hands-on coaching, training, and feedback.
  • Complete program milestones and I-CAR Non-Structural Pro-Levels 1, 2, and 3 within designated timelines.
  • Work 40 hours per week, adhereing to attendance policies and program guidelines.
  • Properly maintain and securely store provided tools and equipment.
  • Support team production with hours increasing consitently throughout the program.
  • Achieve independence in producing 40 flat rate hours weekly upon program completion.

  • Ability to follow structured training, meet deadlines, and complete certifications on schedule.
  • Openness to feedback and ability to apply coaching to improve performance.
  • Proactive attitude, teamwork, and dedication to safe repair practices.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and adherence to program attendance policies.
  • Ability to work full-time, working 40 hours per week.
  • Commmitment to growth and professional development in the collision repair field.
