We provide a full-service suite of capabilities for our member companies, including TPA sourcing, reinsurance, implementing wellness initiatives, and decoding healthcare analytics.

We are looking for someone to join our growing team on a mission to change how people consume and build health insurance.  Our next great hire is for the Broker Sales Manager.  This role will be vital in building broker relationships.  We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.  Someone with a strategic mindset and not afraid to roll up their sleeves.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Entrepreneurial Minded – MUST.  Able to speak confidently and naturally to brokers and executives.
  • Contacts insurance brokers and prospective customers to establish a business relationship.
  • Accountable for achieving monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Prepare and present professional and comprehensive proposals detailing products, services, and options.
  • Maintains contact with existing customers to continue the business relationship.
  • Performs general administrative support of the sales team. Tasks may include answering phone calls, preparing presentation material, counting, calculating census data, etc.
  • Conducts research and responds to inquiries and requests for proposals.
  • Tasks may include preparing, initiating, and gathering implementation paperwork to and from group contacts and/or brokers.
  • Work with multiple internal departments to collaborate and ensure a smooth group transition process.
  • Develop appropriate solutions to customer issues and concerns using excellent problem-solving skills.


Requirements:


  • Experience in employee benefits with a solid working knowledge of self-funded insurance plans and medical stop-loss captives preferred
  • Microsoft Office skills
  • Experience using Hubspot is a plus
  • Extreme attention to detail and pride in your work product
  • Compelling presentation writing and storytelling abilities
  • College degree preferred, preferably in marketing, business, or education.
  • Experience in marketing service-related products is preferred.
  • Must have exemplary presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in collaboration with various departments.
  • Must be highly organized with the ability to prioritize competing priorities.
  • Requires ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
