Full-time

Job description

Description:

About Gravitate:

Gravitate is an AI-driven software company that serves the refined fuels industry. We provide software solutions to refiners, wholesalers, fuel retailers and transportation companies. The market demand for our solutions has been significant and we are growing rapidly. We are looking for a driven, hungry and talented professional to join our team.

As a Functional Delivery Consultant, you will lead complex implementation projects and help our clients meet their fuel pricing and logistics optimization goals using our solutions. You will also help mentor and lead our newer consultants to help them meet our high standards for delivery excellence

Tell me about my job.

You will work within capSpire's flagship software product, Gravitate. Gravitate provides AI-enabled collaboration, automation, and decision support software for energy and commodity organizations. Your main role will be to analyze product design and provide consulting support, but you’ll also gain insight into clients’ strategic directions, issues, and project goals. Consider yourself a liaison between client/user-functionality and our developers – translating specific objectives into actionable tasks, all while delivering exceptional customer service. With the support of our development team, you’ll also assist in evaluating and translating business needs into the Gravitate technology.

You’re an ideal candidate if:

  • You are looking for a career that combines business skills with technology and engineering.
  • You enjoy building relationships with clients and have the ability to communicate with both business and technical groups in unique client environments.
  • You don’t want to learn a skill and coast for the rest of your career. Here, you’ll be consistently challenged to build on your technical, business, system and market knowledge to create tailored, longstanding solutions.
  • You’re naturally collaborative, sharing knowledge and having open-minded discussions around better-way ideas to build quality enterprise solutions for our clients.
  • You are a self-driven person who relentlessly works on a challenge until it is complete – and wants to be on a team with others who share your drive.
  • You are a lifelong learner that thoughtfully embraces change and new technologies.

The Non-Negotiables:

  • 2+ years experience in a Delivery or Implementation Consultant role, ideally within a SaaS software company
  • BS in Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent.
  • Ability to validate software solutions to meet business needs and ensure quality implementation.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, plus the ability to think through complex scenarios.
  • Someone who is interested in learning different client scenarios and environments and wants to help each client with their unique business needs.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with SQL
  • Tutoring or people training experience
  • Experience with a consulting organization
  • Understanding of software systems and agile project management

About the Gravitate team:

To understand who our people are, you should first understand what they’re not: replaceable. Each member of the team is chosen carefully and with intention. We believe that finding the right fit is more important than a laundry list of credentials – and that we are people first, and titles second.

Because we hire the Gravitate way, our team is certainly one of a kind. We’ve brought together incredible talent that regularly collaborates to create clean, fresh solutions. That effort has led to remarkable opportunities, including work with many Fortune 100 clients. We’ve found that the winning combination of exciting achievements, trust in one another and open communication lays the groundwork for long-lasting, successful careers. That, and the fact that we clap for each other at every opportunity.

Problem solvers, go-getters and charge-takers - we (really) want to hear from you.
