Job description

STV is seeking an ORAT Coordinator - Aviation to join our national Aviation group to support aviation ORAT /operational readiness efforts to support one of our national aviation clients in Kentucky but will transition to other projects/locations over time.

This role will focus on coordinating ORAT-related activities within a structured project management framework, supporting planning, execution, and tracking of readiness milestones for complex aviation projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support ORAT initiatives using project management principles to ensure operational readiness aligns with project delivery schedules
  • Assist in the maintenance and tracking of ORAT work plans, schedules, and action item logs
  • Coordinate ORAT tasks across project teams, airport operations, airlines, TSA, and other stakeholders
  • Support integration of ORAT activities with design, construction, commissioning, and closeout phases
  • Track readiness deliverables, risks, and issues; assist in mitigation planning and reporting
  • Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, schedules, dashboards, and status reports for project leadership and clients
  • Support planning and execution of operational testing, trials, and simulations from a project controls perspective
  • Assist with change management, operational transition planning, and phased occupancy coordination
  • Maintain ORAT documentation, procedures, checklists, and project records in accordance with STV and client standards
  • Support training coordination and operational familiarization activities
  • Participate in project meetings, site walks, and coordination workshops

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Aviation Management, or a related field
  • 2-5 years of experience supporting project management, program management, ORAT, or aviation-related projects
  • Strong understanding of project management fundamentals (scope, schedule, risk, and coordination)
  • Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams and multiple stakeholders
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and follow-up skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with project tracking tools a plus
  • Ability to work on-site at national airport projects as required

Preferred:

  • Prior experience supporting ORAT or airport activation programs
  • Experience on aviation capital improvement or terminal development projects
  • Familiarity with airport operational environments and agencies (FAA, TSA, CBP)
  • Experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, SharePoint, Smartsheet)
  • CAPM, PMP, or similar project management certification

Work Environment

  • May require flexible hours during key project milestones, testing, or activation phases

Compensation Range:

$116,930.89 - $133,635.31
