Description:
The Corporate Development Senior Associate is a critical role that will help the executive leadership team perform financial and strategic analysis of potential acquisition & divestiture transactions for Dynasty and play a key role in all transaction phases, including origination, negotiation, structuring, due diligence and execution. The Senior Associate will be a key team member in support of Dynasty's overall corporate goals and strategy and will work closely with departments across Dynasty to bring an integrated approach to the review of opportunities. These cross functional areas may include the executive team, corporate strategy, finance, legal and technology departments. In addition to evaluating corporate development opportunities, the Senior Associate may be involved in joint ventures and strategic partnerships.
Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of materials for the executive leadership, Board and other senior team members to analyze quantitatively and qualitatively acquisitions, joint ventures and partnerships that may be important to Dynasty
  • Creation of financial models to support analysis and conclusions
  • Maintaining quarterly portfolio materials, including KPIs, of Dynasty investments
  • Performing detailed research and strategic analysis on the wealth management, wealth technology and other adjacent industries that could be influential on Dynasty's growth
  • Working collaboratively across a cross-functional project or deal teams to conduct diligence, review transaction documents, or coordinate inputs for financial modeling
  • Establishing a strong relationship with investment banks around opportunities that could be important to Dynasty and its clients
  • Working with external counterparties (including investment banks financial, consulting and/or legal advisors) to help with the origination, review and execution of strategic opportunities
  • Writing and delivering communications to executives and Board members
  • Project managing multiple processes including coordination with internal and external partners

The ideal candidate will possess:
  • Strong financial modeling skills, including the following:
  • Valuation analysis
  • Mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures
  • Accretion/dilution analysis
  • Prior experience in investment banking, corporate development, private equity, consulting, and/or transaction advisory
  • Knowledge of financial accounting, capital markets, and valuation concepts
  • Strong research skills
  • Strong problem solving and conceptual thinking skills
  • Advanced communication and presentation skills, both written and oral
  • Demonstrated success with project management, including ability to handle multiple concurrent projects
  • Wealth management industry experience a plus but not required

Requirements
Qualifications for the candidate may include:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2+ years of experience in investment banking, corporate development, private equity, consulting, and/or transaction advisory, or a combination
  • Experience with Bloomberg, FactSet, S&P Capital IQ, S&P Capital IQ Pro, or similar platform
