Join the Strategy Engineering Team! Strategy Engineering is a leading provider of comprehensive engineering services to the offshore energy industry. Our multidisciplinary team specializes in mechanical, structural, civil, electrical, instrumentation, pipeline, and process disciplines.

Strategy Engineering is seeking an experienced Onshore Project Manager to manage oil and gas projects. The ideal candidate should have an engineering background, and at least 5 years of experience in managing projects. Previous experience directing multi discipline engineering teams for projects is required.
Duties:
  • Oversee in-house engineering and third-party contractors for onshore projects; both at a facility level, and for midstream / pipeline projects.
  • Interface with clients and vendors both verbally and through written project reports.
  • Manage time and resources efficiently.
  • Develop and coordinate detailed work execution plans and execute those plans throughout the life of the project.
  • Forecast and analyze (estimates, planning, scheduling, budgeting, reporting etc.) using Company ERP software platforms.
  • Ensure project start-up and close-out procedures are effectively implemented.
  • Motivate project team and delegate work effectively.
  • Monitor and evaluate performance in relation to overall job schedule, costs and quality.
  • Provide project support and leadership for projects by stewarding design, fabrication and installation while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety and environmental integrity.
  • Maintain and further develop an understanding of design, fabrication, facilities and pipeline aspects of the oil and gas industry.
  • Perform other related duties and assignments as required by Strategy Engineering.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Process Engineering or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience (10 preferred) in natural gas and crude oil gathering pipelines, as well as natural gas processing and storage.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience in managing large-scale engineering projects from conception to completion.
  • Knowledge of relevant codes and standards, including API and ASME standards.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex engineering and project management problems.
  • Experience in developing and managing project budgets and schedules.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
