THE WORK:
You'll lead and oversee delivery of large-scale capital programs and projects across the energy value chain (upstream, midstream, downstream, LNG, power, renewables, energy transition).
You'll act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders (VP, SVP, C-suite) on capital strategy, execution models, governance, and performance improvement.
You'll shape and deliver engagements spanning capital portfolio management, project development, execution excellence, project controls, and digital enablement.
You'll translate industry and delivery experience into pragmatic, value-focused recommendations, leveraging digital and AI where appropriate to improve cost, schedule, risk, and capital predictability
You'll bring working knowledge of digital capital delivery platforms and how they enable better decision-making across the project lifecycle.
You'll advise clients on the selection, deployment, and optimization of PMIS and capital digital tools (e.g., cost, schedule, risk, portfolio visibility).
You'll support the application of data, analytics, and AI-enabled use cases to improve forecasting, performance insights, productivity, and execution outcomes.
You'll partner with digital, data, and technology teams to integrate digital and AI capabilities into capital delivery strategies, without over-engineering solutions.
You'll help clients move from tool adoption to value realization, focusing on governance, data quality, adoption, and measurable outcomes.
You'll support go-to-market strategy, including offering development, pursuit shaping, proposal development, and client presentations.
You'll contribute to account planning, pipeline development, and client relationship growth within the Energy I&CP portfolio.
You'll shape differentiated points of view at the intersection of capital delivery, digital platforms, and AI-enabled insights.
You'll represent the practice through client workshops, executive briefings, and industry forums, including digital- and AI-focused discussions.
You'll build, mentor, and lead high-performing, multidisciplinary teams across regions, including capital delivery, project controls, and digital specialists.
You'll coach teams on modern capital delivery practices, digital adoption, and data-driven decision-making.
You'll support global delivery models, collaborating with onshore and offshore teams as needed.
You'll uphold quality, risk management, and delivery excellence standards across engagements.
Flexible: The work location for this role will include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office or center.
With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities. As an employer, we will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
5+ years in a consulting environment, with demonstrated experience shaping delivery strategies, leading pursuits, and advising clients.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field, or 15+ years of relevant industry experience in lieu of formal degree.
Prior industry experience in engineering, construction management, project controls, or capital project delivery strongly preferred.
Experience working with energy owners, EPCs, or major capital programs, including exposure to digital delivery environments.
Demonstrated ability to integrate digital tools, data, or AI concepts into client solutions (hands-on configuration not required).
Professional experience communicating complex technical and digital topics in clear, business-focused terms.
Willingness and ability to support global clients and travel as required.
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
Experience with capital digital platforms (e.g., EcoSys, SAP PPM/EPPM, Primavera P6, Aconex, Unifier, or similar PMIS tools).
Exposure to advanced analytics, AI, or automation use cases in capital planning, scheduling, cost forecasting, or construction productivity.
Ability to bridge capital delivery, digital, and change management to drive sustained adoption and value.
Experience modernizing capital delivery operating models supported by data, digital workflows, and performance insights.
Familiarity with AI-enabled planning or optimization tools (e.g., scheduling optimization, forecasting, risk analytics).
Strong commercial acumen, including SOW development, pricing, and delivery margin management.
