Job description

Capital Disaster Solutions is a premier, full-service restoration and reconstruction company specializing in large-loss multifamily and commercial projects. From hurricane and flood recovery to fire remediation and high-end buildouts, we pride ourselves on our core values: Communication, Dedication, and being Solutions-Oriented. We serve as a beacon of reliability, helping our clients minimize business income loss and tenant disruption when tragedy strikes.

The Role

We are seeking a high-energy, results-driven Commissioned Sales Associate to expand our footprint in the commercial, hospitality, and multifamily restoration industry. In this role, you won't just be selling a service; you will be selling peace of mind and emergency preparedness. Your primary goal is to build a robust pipeline of "First Responder" relationships with property owners, portfolio managers, and insurance adjusters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development: Proactively identify and prospect new opportunities within the multifamily, hospitality, and commercial sectors (Retail, Hospitals, High-rises).
  • Relationship Management: Cultivate long-term relationships with key decision-makers (Property Managers, Regional Directors, Asset Managers) to ensure CDS is the preferred vendor for emergency services.
  • Emergency Response: Act as a liaison during catastrophic events (hurricanes, floods, fires). You must be comfortable being "on-call" when disasters occur to support your clients.
  • Strategic Networking: Attend industry events (AAH, IREM, BOMA), trade shows, and community gatherings to promote the CDS brand.
  • Consultative Selling: Educate potential clients on our turnkey restoration capabilities, including 24/7 emergency response, biohazard cleanup, and full-scale reconstruction.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with our Project Managers and Estimators to ensure a seamless handoff from the initial sale to the restoration phase.

Requirements

  • Experience: Proven outside sales experience, preferably in restoration, construction, commercial real estate, or property management services.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. You must be able to navigate complex conversations during high-stress disaster situations.
  • Drive: A "hunter" mentality with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Independence: Self-motivated with the ability to manage a territory and schedule with minimal supervision.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Travel: Ability to travel within the assigned region and occasionally respond to large-scale catastrophe sites.

Why Join CDS?

  • Uncapped Earning Potential: A competitive commission structure that rewards high performance.
  • Essential Industry: We provide a critical service that is always in demand, regardless of economic conditions.
  • Expert Support: You are backed by a team with decades of experience and state-of-the-art technology (infrared, moisture meters, etc.).
  • Culture: Join a team that values being "Open & Honest," "Above & Beyond," and "Empowered & Enabled."
