Job description

Job Summary

We’re looking for a highly creative and execution-focused Social-First Content Strategist to manage and grow the founder’s personal brand across LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Instagram Reels, TikTok, and email newsletters.

This is not a client account management role. You’ll work directly with the founder to plan, produce, edit, distribute, and optimize content that drives audience growth and business visibility. You will own the content engine end-to-end, from content calendars and scripting to posting, analytics, and community engagement.

If you live and breathe short-form content, understand founder‑led brands, and know how to turn conversations into engaging social content, this role is for you.

Role Type: Full-time

Engagement: Independent Contractor

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and manage the weekly content calendar across LinkedIn, X, YouTube Shorts, long‑form YouTube, Instagram Reels, TikTok, and newsletters
  • Lead and direct weekly filming sessions, including scripting ideas and shot planning
  • Repurpose transcripts, calls, podcasts, and videos into engaging social‑first content
  • Edit short‑form video content using CapCut, Edits, or similar tools
  • Coordinate with freelance editors for long‑form YouTube production
  • Write and distribute weekly newsletters through platforms like Beehiiv, ConvertKit, or Substack
  • Schedule and publish content across all social channels
  • Optimize thumbnails, captions, hooks, titles, and metadata for engagement and reach
  • Monitor content performance and iterate based on analytics and trends
  • Engage with comments and DMs on behalf of the founder when appropriate
  • Utilize AI tools such as Claude and ChatGPT for ideation, repurposing, and workflow efficiency
  • Help improve and maintain AI‑assisted content systems and workflows
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience managing content or social media for a founder, creator, agency, or operator‑led brand
  • Strong understanding of short‑form content trends across TikTok, Reels, Shorts, and X
  • Excellent writing skills for LinkedIn posts, Twitter/X threads, and newsletters
  • Hands‑on short‑form editing experience using CapCut, Edits, or similar software
  • Comfortable using AI tools like Claude and ChatGPT daily
  • Highly organized and self‑managed with strong execution ability
  • Familiarity with DTC, agency, creator economy, or operator‑led content ecosystems
  • Experience growing a creator/founder audience is highly preferred
  • Basic understanding of content analytics and platform performance metrics
  • Experience helping a creator or founder surpass 10K YouTube subscribers or 50K+ followers on a platform
  • Newsletter growth and management experience
  • Thumbnail design skills in Figma or Photoshop
  • Direct‑response copywriting or growth marketing background
  • Experience with AI workflows, Claude Code, Make, or n8n
Benefits
  • Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications
  • Onsite role in Tampa with a collaborative team environment
  • Opportunity to lead and scale a high‑impact content strategy
  • Career growth within a fast‑growing, innovative company
  • Work on high‑visibility campaigns with measurable business impact
  • Direct placement with a client—no middle layers, fully integrated into the team
