Executive + Content Assistant Intern Fall 2026

About the Role: 

Jomboy Media's Content Assistant Internship is a hands-on training program for students who want to learn short-form content creation and social media strategy. Working for academic credit, you'll learn alongside our Content Manager and Executive Assistant, gaining supervised, real-world experience ideating, drafting, and assisting on content for one of our company's leading voices. This is a hybrid internship (3 days in-office, 2 days WFH), running August 31- Dec 11th, with hours arranged around your class schedule. 

  • Start date: August 31th 

  • End date: December 11th 

  • Hours per week: 20-30, working around your university & class schedule

What You'll Learn

Responsibilities:

  • Ideate creative concepts and short-form content ideas for Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn, then assist in filming and drafting edits alongside our Content Manager
  • Assist with content planning and scheduling via Rella, learning how our content calendar is built and managed
  • Help draft and maintain an organized library/log of posted and scheduled content
  • Support bulk content recording sessions by assisting with setup, logistics, and drafting rough cuts for review
  • Pitch creative ideas to help shape storytelling and personal brand voice, developed alongside our Content Manager and Executive Assistant
  • Stay on top of social media trends, viral formats, and relevant media opportunities, and bring ideas back to the team
  • Assist in monitoring basic social media analytics and help draft early insights to inform content strategy, reviewed by the Content Manager

Requirements:

  • Passionate about social media, content creation, and storytelling
  • Proficiency in Canva, CapCut, TikTok, or other editing tools
  • Experience filming and editing short-form content for social platforms
  • Comfortable staying on top of trends and learning about social media strategy
  • Organized, proactive, and collaborative

We're looking for someone with working proficiency in Canva, CapCut, and TikTok, confident editing short-form content and creating simple graphics. A strong understanding of social media analytics (especially on Instagram and LinkedIn) is a plus. Please include a sample of content you've created as part of your application.

This internship is a fixed-term learning experience with no expectation of continued employment. Strong performance may be considered for future openings, but a job is never guaranteed. Our internship program is currently unpaid. Candidates must receive school credit.
