ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you a designer who sees possibility everywhere? Do you love transforming ideas into visually compelling stories that connect with people and drive action? We'd love to hear from you!

We're looking for a Temporary, Full-time Digital Graphic Designer who combines creativity, craftsmanship, and curiosity to support our creative team and bring our brand to life across every guest touchpoint. This position is responsible for the overall design and creation of high-quality visual materials primarily focused on digital media for Buff City Soap to drive brand awareness and revenue growth for the company.

You'll join a collaborative team of creatives who are passionate about building a memorable brand experience. We value big ideas, attention to detail, and a willingness to jump in wherever needed.

This is a temporary, full-time assignment expected to run through the end of 2026, with the possibility of extension.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Design and create compelling graphic assets and templates to be used in email, on the Buff City Soap website and social media platforms.
  • Create content that includes, but is not limited to, intermediate animation, static photos, and graphics.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to understand individual project needs and determine design solutions that align with marketing and brand guidelines
  • Use Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Capcut, aftereffects) to create visual assets
  • Design and create PowerPoint presentations for internal Buff City Soap usage
  • Ensure that all assets adhere to brand standards
  • Take the initiative to transform campaign and content ideas into visual assets
  • Accommodate other interdepartmental design requests
  • Work on any task and help solve problems — be humble and scrappy
  • Review designs for errors before sharing them with internal partners to publish
  • Partnering with a copywriter to create compelling layouts that resonate with guests


WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Proven experience (2+ years) as a Graphic Designer or similar role
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Visual Communication or a related field required
  • Digital creative experience preferred from an agency or in-house agency style role
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating a diverse range of design projects, showcasing creativity, technical skills, and a keen eye for detail
  • Eperience work with Ai and photography an added plus
  • Experience with to procreate and ability to do illustration work compliant with brand guidelines.
  • On-set experience preferred via product staging, propping, and extra hands-on set.
  • Willingness to deliver on quick turnaround requests
  • Passion for learning new techniques to continue to push the brand and create innovative designs.
  • Strong collaboration and project management skills
  • Strong skills within Adobe Creative Suite - Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop (After Effects and Capcut a plus)
  • Positive attitude, flexibility, and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities and requirements
  • High levels of attention to detail. Graphic designers are on set helping stage products ensuring that all labels are correct; product selection is accurate and displayed harmoniously.
