This role will focus primarily on driving engagement, accelerating audience growth, and contributing to site traffic through optimized social strategies. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who is passionate about social media, content creation, and the outdoors. You’ll work closely with the Marketing Manager on day-to-day social activities and content needs while gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic brand.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Social Media Management

· Schedule and publish content across platforms (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn and others as needed) following the monthly/quarterly social calendar.

· Engage with our audience by responding to comments and DMs and proactively interacting with relevant posts in the overlanding/outdoor community to boost visibility and build relationships.

· Collaborate with Mohab dealers to co-create and amplify content, leveraging their audiences and local networks for greater reach.

· Identify and coordinate influencer collaborations and promotional opportunities to expand brand visibility and authenticity.

· Help maintain and update the content calendar around campaigns, product launches, events, and seasonal themes.

· Brainstorm content ideas that align with brand voice, business goals, and current marketing initiatives.

· Monitor social media performance metrics (reach, engagement, growth, top posts, etc.), use insights to optimize content and posting strategies, and report findings monthly/quarterly to support goals around increased engagement, audience growth, and site traffic.

Content Creation

· Create engaging social content (reels, carousels, static posts, stories) using our existing photo and video repository.

· Edit and optimize visuals and short videos using tools like CapCut, or similar.

· Support onsite content capture at photoshoots, trade shows, and events as needed (including briefing the team on required shots and assets when not attending in person).

· Ensure all content aligns with Mohab’s adventurous, authentic, and community-focused brand voice.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

· 1–2 years of hands-on experience supporting or managing social media for a brand, creator, agency, internship, freelance work, or similar environment.

· Working knowledge of major social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and emerging channels, with an understanding of platform-specific content formats and best practices.

· Experience creating, editing, and optimizing short-form photo and video content, including reels, stories, carousels, static posts, and short videos using CapCut, Canva, Adobe Express, or similar tools.

· Ability to write clear, engaging captions and social copy that reflect brand voice, support audience engagement, and encourage traffic to the company website or other digital channels.

· Basic understanding of social media analytics, including reach, engagement, follower growth, top-performing content, and traffic-related metrics, with the ability to summarize insights and recommend improvements.

· Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain a content calendar, manage deadlines, coordinate assets, and balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

· Comfortable engaging with online communities by responding to comments and messages, identifying relevant conversations, and supporting positive brand relationships.

· Interest in outdoor adventure, overlanding, camping, travel, or related lifestyle activities, with the ability to create content that feels authentic to the brand and audience.

· Flexibility to provide additional support based on evolving organizational needs in a start-up environment, with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.

· Ability to work onsite in the Denver area with some flexibility, and willingness to travel occasionally for trade shows, photoshoots, events, and content capture needs with advance notice.

· Regular and sustained attendance.
