Tech Resilience Manager

Lead complex resilience initiatives as a Manager, Technical Resilience, helping clients prepare for, respond to, and recover from disruption. In this role, you will drive the design and delivery of resilience strategies across business, technology, and operational environments while guiding teams and advising senior stakeholders on continuity, recovery, and risk priorities. Work you'll do

As a Manager, Technical Resilience on the Strategy, Growth, and Transformation team, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading the assessment, design, and implementation of technical resilience, business continuity, and operational resilience programs
  • Managing teams in the analysis of client processes, systems, dependencies, and risks to identify resilience gaps and define remediation plans
  • Overseeing the development of recovery strategies, continuity plans, playbooks, and program documentation for critical business and technology functions
  • Facilitating executive and stakeholder working sessions, exercises, and testing activities to evaluate readiness and improve response capabilities
  • Managing project delivery, client communications, and team performance across multiple workstreams and priorities

Required:

  • 6 years of experience in infrastructure or application architecture, with hands-on exposure to both on-premise and cloud technology environments
  • 6 years of related experience within consulting or professional services
  • Foundational working knowledge across the full infrastructure stack, including compute, network, storage, database, and data protection technologies, with experience assessing enterprise environments to identify risks and gaps that could impact the recoverability of critical business services
  • Experience identifying and mapping dependencies across a technology ecosystem to uncover breaking points that could impact the delivery of critical business capabilities
  • Experience translating technical findings into solution designs that address gaps in resilience or recoverability
  • Ability to engage and facilitate structured discussions with technical client teams to evaluate how a technology landscape against their recovery requirements
  • BA/BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cyber Security, or equivalent demonstrated technical background
  • Ability to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

Preferred:

    • 6 years designing cyber resilience strategies and recovery architectures aligned to business recovery objectives, including requirement gathering, tool selection, implementation, testing, and operationalization
    • Prior experience gathering technical requirements, performing gap and technical analysis, developing technical specifications, and architecting solutions at scale
    • Strong knowledge of on-premise and cloud strategies, with experience designing, implementing, or managing solutions across at least one major public cloud provider
    • Prior experience designing and implementing large-scale solutions or leading infrastructure/datacenter migrations
    • Application development or SDLC experience with the ability to understand how applications interact with underlying infrastructure and data flows
    • Masters degree

    The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $134,500 to $265,100.
