Together, we are a leading Midwest provider of concrete pipe, precast products, storage systems, and ready-mix concrete. We are seeking a Business Development Manager to help drive sustainable growth by identifying new opportunities, expanding market presence, and building long-term strategic partnerships.
This role reports directly to the President of MCC and plays a key role in shaping the company's growth strategy.
Position Summary
The Business Development Manager is responsible for promoting MCC's products and construction capabilities to drive revenue growth and market expansion. This position focuses on market research, lead generation, relationship development, and strategic planning while collaborating across departments to support company objectives.
Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research, networking, and outreach
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, partners, and stakeholders
  • Develop proposals, presentations, and pitches to secure new business
  • Collaborate with accounting, sales, marketing, and product teams
  • Forecast revenue and drive sales performance against financial targets
  • Identify potential acquisition or partnership opportunities for leadership review

  • Bachelor's degree required; preferred in business, accounting, economics, or engineering
  • Strong understanding of accounting and marketing principles
  • Ability to interpret financial statements and data
