Job description

Who we are:

Founded in 2010, Semios Group is a leading agricultural technology company helping growers, agronomists, and ag retailers manage over 200 million acres across five countries. Semios pioneered variable-rate pheromone-based mating disruption in orchards and has since expanded into a comprehensive portfolio covering crop protection, water management, frost control, automation, and a leading farm management information system. The Semios Group includes trusted brands such as Semios, Agworld, Altrac, and Greenbook. We continue to drive the next generation of digital agriculture, supporting growers, agronomists and ag retailers in improving sustainability and profitability.

Our innovative work has been recognized with several industry awards, including:

  • AgTech Breakthrough – Smart Irrigation Company & Pest Management Solution of the Year
  • Thrive Top 50
  • Google for Startups Accelerator Cohort
  • Global Cleantech Top 100

We know our journey is only achievable by having a great team who shares ideas, tries new things, and learns as we go.
Who you are:

You’re motivated by making a real-world impact and care deeply about growers and the people who support them. You take the time to listen, learn, and understand the daily realities of farming and agriculture.

You believe great technology only matters when it truly serves its users. No matter your role, you value strong relationships, practical innovation, and collaboration built on trust.

Curious, collaborative, and impact-driven, you’re excited to help shape the future of digital agriculture alongside a team that shares your commitment to meaningful progress—for growers and for the industry.

What you will do:

As the Senior Product Manager, Smartfield, you will lead strategy and execution across key areas of our AgTech SaaS platform. You will own critical product initiatives spanning grower workflows, data-driven capabilities, and platform infrastructure, ensuring our solutions deliver meaningful value to growers, agronomists, and agricultural enterprises.

In this role, you will also focus on IoT enabled in-field environments, including identifying and securing strategic hardware partners for resale. You will drive the integration of data from multiple hyper-localized, spatial, and large-scale datasets, and support the delivery of actionable agronomic decision-making tools through an intuitive SaaS interface. Additionally, you will ensure seamless integration with both internal and external agronomic workflows.

Key Drivers:

Partnerships, new for-fee Saas product commercialization, data/AI integration.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Strategy & Vision

  • Define and execute platform product strategy aligned with company goals, market opportunities, and revenue targets.
  • Own and evolve the roadmap across key product areas including grower workflows, data capabilities, and platform services.
  • Identify opportunities to expand platform capabilities through analytics, integrations, APIs, and data-driven features.

Customer & Market Insight

  • Conduct customer discovery with growers, agronomists, and agricultural partners to deeply understand operational workflows and unmet needs.
  • Analyze customer feedback, usage data, and market trends to identify opportunities for product improvement and innovation.
  • Translate complex agricultural workflows and data insights into intuitive digital experiences.

Product Execution & Delivery

  • Lead product development from discovery through delivery.
  • Write clear product requirements, user stories, and success metrics.
  • Partner closely with engineering, design, and data teams to deliver high-quality product releases.
  • Prioritize product initiatives based on customer impact, strategic value, and technical feasibility.

Data & Platform Capabilities

  • Drive development of scalable platform capabilities including data ingestion, analytics, APIs, and integrations.
  • Partner with engineering and data science teams to ensure data reliability, performance, and scalability.
  • Define and track product KPIs and usage metrics to guide continuous improvement.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • In partnership with GTM leader, identify and curate technology ecosystem partners for hardware resale or data ingestion/integration that enhance growers’ in-season decision-making.
  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Engineering to ensure product initiatives support go-to-market strategy and revenue growth.
  • Contribute to pricing, packaging, and commercialization of advanced product capabilities.
  • Communicate product strategy, roadmap, and performance insights to stakeholders.
  • Agworld NA and Smartfield collaborate to identify interface integration opportunities, tying IoT and predictive AI modeling with workflows and applications.

12- month success metrics will include:

  • Increased adoption and utilization across core product workflows
  • Improved onboarding activation and feature utilization
  • Increased revenue retention and expansion
  • Growth in usage of data-driven and platform capabilities
  • Successful delivery of roadmap initiatives on time and within scope

We want you to succeed, so you will need:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (IE: Computer Science, Agriculture, Agronomy, Engineering, or related discipline).
  • 10+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of successfully leading and launching complex products with data platforms, APIs, and SaaS analytics.
  • Strong technical fluency (data pipelines, cloud systems).
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with engineering and data science teams.
  • A background in IoT, geospatial, ML, or AgTech preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Deep passion and desire to work in a purpose-led, category leading company to solve some of the most pressing problems facing humanity in the context of climate, food and health.

Salary range: $140,000 to $160,000 per year

We publish a salary range to provide transparency and represent the full growth potential of the role; as a result, offers are made based on demonstrated mastery and experience and generally fall near the midpoint. Please note that the base pay may also vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and experience, geographic location, as well as business and organizational needs.

Why this is the opportunity for you:

  • Purposeful Work: Make a global impact by advancing sustainable food production.
  • Our People: Work with a fun, collaborative, and supportive team.
  • Recharge: Generous vacation policy and year-end winter break.
  • Work Flexibility: Enjoy a hybrid office setting (Fresno, California) or fully remote.
  • Wellbeing: Comprehensive health plans and enroll in our 401(K) plan.

At Semios Group, we value the full range of experience and perspectives people bring—not just what’s listed in a job description. If your background is a close match, we encourage you to apply. If you need accommodations during the interview process, please let us know.
