Job description

Position Description: Greater State Bank is looking for Business Development/Treasury Management. To join our growing team, please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications.
Business Development/Treasury Management is responsible for driving new business growth by identifying, developing, and expanding client relationships, with a strong focus on treasury management solutions. This role partners with internal teams to deliver comprehensive banking services cash flow, improve operational efficiency, and support overall financial goals.
Responsibilities
· Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase deposits, treasury revenue, and overall market share.
· Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects through networking, referrals, and community engagement.
· Promote and sell treasury management services, ACH origination, wire services, and remote deposit capture.
· Conduct in-depth client needs assessments and recommend tailored treasury and banking solutions.
· Collaborate with relationship managers and branch teams to deliver integrated financial solutions.
· Lead client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations to showcase treasury management capabilities.
· Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through onboarding and implementation.
· Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
· Provide ongoing relationship management to deepen client engagement and identify cross-sell opportunities.
· Other duties as assigned.
Skills/Qualifications
· Ability to work independently and collaborate with team members.
· Ability to listen to and recognize customer problems and determine a resolution.
· Excellent oral, written, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
· Knowledge of appropriate banking laws and regulations.
· Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sale goals.
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
· Time management skills & ability to meet deadlines.
· Some travel will be required.
· Anticipated work schedule is Monday - Friday 8am – 6pm (varies) and participation in Saturday rotation of 9:00am - 1:00pm.
· Bilingual preferred.
Physical Requirements
· Some lifting and moving may be required.
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Standing for a long period of time.
Education:
· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or related field OR 3+ years prior experience in an equivalent field OR experience sufficient to perform the responsibilities as outlined above.
· 3+ years of experience in business development, banking, or treasury management sales.
