The JF Petroleum Group stands as a premier leader in the North American fueling infrastructure industry, offering comprehensive turn-key solutions for distribution, construction, and service needs. We serve a diverse clientele including retail fueling stations, commercial and government fleets, and emergency power customers.


The Sales Development Rep (SDR) will play a critical role in managing inbound sales inquiries, researching customer data, qualifying leads, and ensuring timely and accurate hand-off to the appropriate sales teams. In addition to inbound follow-up, this role will be responsible for executing cold calling campaigns that involve prospecting, outreach, and data entry. This person must be able to engage with prospects/customers in a way that creates a superior customer service experience. Throughout the workday this person will be using various web-based research tools to look up customer and product information. In addition, the SDR will identify needs and refer leads to the appropriate resources.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  •  Articulate the company's capabilities and value proposition
  •  Learn and demonstrate a fundamental understanding of service and product offerings
  •  Develop a superior customer service relationship with both prospects and sales teams
  •  Proactively research and stay up-to-date on company products/services and competitive products/services
  •  Respond promptly to inbound sales inquiries via phone, email, and web forms.
  •  Research customer accounts, identify decision-makers, and understand past interactions with our company.
  •  Assess buying interest to qualify leads based on predefined criteria to ensure quality hand-off to sales.
  •  Assign qualified leads accordingly and request updates on leads and quotes with sales team
  •  Update lead/opportunity interactions within spreadsheet or CRM platforms (SalesForce)
  •  Execute outbound calling campaigns to generate new sales opportunities.
  •  Perform prospecting and gather key data on target accounts.
  •  Maintain detailed and accurate records of all sales activities and customer interactions.
  •  Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to support lead nurturing and campaign efforts.
  •  Provide monthly activity report to management
  •  Meet or exceed weekly/monthly activity and performance goals.


Requirements

  •  Highschool Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field, preferred
  •  Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, marketing, or lead generation, preferably in a B2B environment.
  •  Strong understanding of lead generation strategies and tactics.
  •  Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  •  Proven ability to analyze data and trends to drive actionable insights.
  •  Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  •  Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office products
  •  Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship
  •  Must be able to meet company's employment requirements, which includes passing a drug screen, criminal background check, and MVR, if driving for the company.
  •  Physical Requirements: include occasional lifting/carrying of 10 pounds; visual acuity, speech and hearing; hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer keyboard and basic office equipment. Subject to sitting, standing, reaching, walking, twisting, and kneeling to perform the essential functions. Working conditions are primarily inside an office environment. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
