Senior Manager, Finance Learning & Capability Development
Location: Dallas, TX
Your Role
The Senior Manager, Finance Learning & Capability Development is responsible for creating and executing a global Finance learning and talent development strategy that strengthens organizational capabilities, supports transformation initiatives, and builds a strong pipeline of future talent. This role partners closely with Finance leaders, HR, Change Management, Transformation teams, and subject matter experts to develop learning programs, career frameworks, leadership development initiatives, and employee growth opportunities that drive continuous learning, capability building, and organizational success.
What you'll do
  • Lead the development and execution of Finance learning, capability development, and talent growth strategies that support current and future business needs.
  • Partner with Finance leadership, HR, regional teams, and SMEs to identify skill gaps, assess learning needs, and develop targeted training solutions.
  • Design and deliver onboarding programs, role-based curricula, leadership development programs, career progression frameworks, and succession planning initiatives.
  • Develop engaging learning content and materials, including instructor-led training, eLearning modules, videos, job aids, workshops, and multimedia resources.
  • Support Finance transformation and organizational change initiatives by assessing training impacts and developing programs that drive adoption of new processes, systems, and ways of working.
  • Develop and implement learning adoption and change management strategies, measuring effectiveness and continuously improving programs based on feedback and performance metrics.
  • Create and manage communication plans, training portals, SharePoint sites, newsletters, enrollment campaigns, and stakeholder communications to maximize learner engagement and participation.
  • Own and maintain Finance Transformation-related SOPs, training documentation, and process materials to ensure consistency, efficiency, and delivery excellence.
  • Expand and enhance the Finance Mentor Program while facilitating capability-building initiatives such as workshops, lunch-and-learns, knowledge-sharing forums, and development events.
  • Partner across global teams to foster a culture of continuous learning, career development, and professional growth throughout the Finance organization.

What you'll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Learning & Development, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience leading training, learning, talent development, or capability-building initiatives within global organizations.
  • Experience developing enterprise-wide learning strategies, onboarding programs, leadership development initiatives, and role-based curricula.
  • Strong instructional design and adult learning expertise with experience creating both virtual and instructor-led learning programs.
  • Experience supporting organizational change, transformation initiatives, and change adoption strategies.
  • Ability to assess training needs, conduct skills gap analyses, and develop scalable learning solutions.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills with the ability to work effectively across leadership, HR, and business teams.
  • Experience developing communication strategies and managing content across learning platforms, SharePoint sites, newsletters, and employee engagement channels.
  • Strong program management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and drive results in a global environment.
  • Change Management certification (Prosci, ADKAR, or equivalent) and/or Instructional Design certification preferred.
