We are currently seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to help accomplish our growth strategies. The successful candidate will be very meticulous with strong follow up skills to nurture existing relationships with current clients along with a strong motivation to break into new accounts through continuous effort. This individual will have the ability to showcase capabilities, benefits, and value proposition in all interactions to generate new business with existing clients by leveraging our current relationships.
The ideal candidate should be passionate and aggressive to grow both the IT Consulting and IT Staffing business and must be able to work independently, influence key stakeholders, and drive growth imperatives. We are looking for a talented BDM, with the right mix of experience and relationships with key stakeholders, to collaborate with our seasoned team to grow into a market-leader in Staffing and IT Services.
Job Responsibilities
Identify New Staffing and Placement Opportunitiesย Build additional pipeline of opportunities from current and new customers to achieve corporate growth objectives. These opportunities may include either staffing, consulting or placement opportunities. This would include contract, contract to hire, and direct permanent placements with new and existing clients.
Customer Acquisitionย Identify new clients through the candidate's existing and growing network and relationships. Also collaborate with other members of the team to target new strategic accounts.
Consultative Sellingย Apply consultative-selling techniques to identify and advance opportunities that result in ongoing profitable revenue growth . Additionally, identify potential opportunities for IT Managed Services group through identifying customer needs.
C-Level Partneringย Contribute to enduring executive relationships at the client's organization; establish professional relationships and credibility with key IT and business executives to enhance business.
Industry and Client Knowledgeย Stay current with industry and competitive research and information to enable rich client dialogue; maintain an understanding of client business challenges, industry trends and markets; demonstrate the knowledge to position and map capabilities that align to client business objectives and initiatives.
Sales Reports and Funnelsย Prepare periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
Qualifications And Required Skills:

  • 8+ years for strong experience of building an account from the ground up involving all aspects of the sales process for selling IT Staffing / IT Consulting Services and Generating New Business through direct client relationships.
  • Responsible for all phases of the sales cycle including prospecting and identifying new potential clients, introductions and scheduling meetings with key decision makers, presentation of services, contract review and negotiations, establishing and driving processes and delivery of services
  • Ability to lead the strategic direction of the account by establishing and articulating account growth and client satisfaction goals in relation to client expectations
  • Ability to drive new business development with an established record of closing new accounts through relationships, responses to request for proposals, participation in networking events, or technical user group events for building client pipeline and meeting potential candidates
  • Must be competent in all aspects of the sales process, prospecting, cold/warm calling, networking, scheduling meetings, client presentations, gathering requirements and managing results
  • Ability to partner Technical Teams and bench staff to create IT Solution project proposals, sales presentations for new opportunities
  • Ability to partner with the recruiting team to drive desired results and deliver high quality IT talent
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and articulate phone skills
