The Opportunity
In our Global Product Group - Grid and Power Quality Solutions and Service, we are constantly evolving and improving our offerings and solutions to be able to offer our customers the full benefit of our technology and innovation, within highly effective Business Models that would support our Global customers achieve their energy needs while improving efficiency, saving resources and reducing emissions.
Working within the Grid and Power Quality Solutions and Service (GPQSS) Product Group, you will be responsible for driving innovation and growth across our eMobility portfolio. Your focus will be on eMobility Energy Solutions, with an emphasis on digital charging and energy management integration for medium and large-scale customer sites such as logistics hubs, public transit operators, ports, airports, and other fleet applications. The role will strengthen our early engagement and end-to-end solution development capabilities, enabling Hitachi Energy to shape projects from inception and help customers develop efficient, competitive, and scalable solutions.
You will achieve this by driving business development in the North American markets, increasing our system and solutions marketing activities, and enhancing business intelligence to support early market penetration and strong customer collaboration. You will work with customers to co-develop complete solutions that integrate Hitachi Energy's portfolio with digital platforms, energy management capabilities, local services, and selected third-party offerings. You will also help develop regional partnerships that meet local market needs while remaining aligned with Hitachi Energy's global strategy and partner ecosystem, working closely with Front-End Sales, Marketing and Sales, Application Engineering, and delivery teams to ensure a smooth customer experience from early engagement through sales and execution.
How You'll Make an Impact
  • Focus on untapped customer and market segments for medium and large-scale eMobility sites, including logistics hubs, public transit operators, ports, airports, fleet operators, and other emerging electrification applications.
  • Strengthen early engagement capabilities to shape projects from inception by working with customers before requirements are fully defined and positioning Hitachi Energy as a trusted integration and solution partner.
  • Partner with customers to develop efficient, competitive, and scalable solutions that integrate charging infrastructure, digital energy management, Hitachi Energy products and services, local services, and selected third-party offerings.
  • Develop regional partnerships that address local customer needs while aligning with Hitachi Energy's global strategy, partner ecosystem, and broader eMobility Energy Solutions roadmap.
  • Translate customer needs, market insights, and application-specific requirements into actionable solution concepts, value propositions, and business models that support growth beyond product sales.
  • Collaborate closely with Application Engineering, Front-End Sales, Marketing and Sales, and key partners to ensure customer opportunities are developed with the right technical approach, commercial positioning, and execution path from early engagement through order capture.
  • Live the core values of safety and integrity, taking responsibility for your actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
