About the Role
ComSonics is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Business Development Manager to drive growth within our electronics manufacturing and cable assembly business units. In this role, you will work closely with the Director of Business Development and our facility leadership teams to shape strategy, expand market presence, and build strong customer relationships.
You'll lead initiatives that strengthen our go-to-market approach, manage our sales network, and identify new opportunities across the eastern U.S. while showcasing a broad range of manufacturing capabilities-including cable and wiring harness assemblies, PCB assembly, Level 1-5 box integration, and forward/reverse logistics.
What You'll Do
You'll take ownership of developing new business that leverages the full strength of our manufacturing solutions. This includes building relationships with key decision-makers, preparing and delivering compelling proposals, and negotiating profitable contracts. You will engage directly with clients, represent ComSonics at industry events, and collaborate across internal departments to ensure alignment and successful execution.
You will also assess market trends, evaluate customer needs, help refine business plans, and support the development of long-term growth strategies. This role is both strategic and hands-on-perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys driving measurable results.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking a candidate with proven sales success and strong industry relationships. You should bring excellent presentation and closing skills, a strategic mindset, and familiarity with manufacturing-related products and processes. A bachelor's degree in a related field and proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems are preferred. Experience managing rep organizations is a plus. The role requires regular travel and a high level of professionalism, motivation, and confidentiality.
