JOB DUTIES:
Quality Control
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes and standards
- Lead inspection activities and ensure compliance with specifications and customer requirements
- Investigate non-conformances and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Maintain documentation related to quality audits, inspections, and reports
Machining Operations
- Oversee daily machining operations of Manual and CNC Lathes to ensure productivity, efficiency, and precision
- Collaborate with production teams to optimize workflows and reduce downtime
- Ensure machinery is maintained and operating within safety and performance standards
Shipping & Receiving
- Manage inbound and outbound logistics, including material handling and inventory control
- Ensure accurate documentation, labeling, and tracking of shipments
- Coordinate with vendors, carriers, and internal teams to meet delivery timelines
Part Trimming / Finishing
- Supervise trimming and finishing processes to ensure parts meet quality and dimensional specifications
- Implement standardized methods to improve consistency and reduce waste
- Train and support staff in best practices for finishing operations
Leadership & Continuous Improvement
- Supervise, train, and develop cross-functional team members
- Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and operational efficiency
- Track and report on KPIs such as quality metrics, production output, scrap, and delivery performance
REQUIREMENTS:
5+ yrs Manufacturing Operations, including quality control and machining experience
Strong understanding of quality systems (ISO standards preferred)
Proven leadership and team management skills
Excellent problem-solving and process improvement abilities (Lean/Six Sigma a plus)
Strong organizational and communication skills
Forklift experience a plus
Lift/Carry up to 50 lbs
Walk, Stand, Stoop, Bend for 8-10 hours/day
Must be able to work in a non-climate controlled warehouse
Work well in a team environment
Follow company guidelines & procedures
Reliable transportation
High School diploma or equivalent
