Are you looking for a hands-on role where you can make a real impact? Join HOPES CAP, Inc. as an Assisted Transportation Driver and make a difference by providing essential rides to elderly and vulnerable clients for medical and other important appointments!
As an Assisted Transportation Driver, you will transport clients safely, assist them in and out of vehicles, and maintain transportation schedules. You'll also ensure vehicle safety, complete necessary documentation, and provide compassionate service to those who rely on this essential program.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely transport clients to and from designated appointments
  • Assist passengers in getting in and out of vehicles and residences
  • Maintain transportation schedules and communicate any changes
  • Ensure vehicles are clean, fueled, and properly maintained
  • Perform basic vehicle safety checks and report necessary repairs
  • Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, and client case management
  • Attend meetings and training for new procedures and safety regulations
  • Follow all safety regulations, program policies, and procedures

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma
  • 3+ years of experience driving a multi-passenger vehicle or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid New Jersey Driver's License with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
  • Strong understanding of transportation regulations and safety standards.
  • Proficient computer skills for record-keeping and communication.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
