Position Overview
Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Licensed School Nurse provides leadership and coordination for student health services across CVSEC programs. The LSN plays a vital role in supporting student wellness, ensuring safe learning environments, and partnering with families and educational teams to meet students' individual health needs.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and monitor student health needs and medical conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans
  • Collaborate with families, educators, and service providers to support student success
  • Provide health education, guidance, and counseling to students and families
  • Respond to medical concerns and emergencies within school settings
  • Support compliance with state health regulations and special education requirements
  • Promote healthy, safe, and inclusive learning environments
