Job description

The Machine Specialist assists production through the effective use of electrical /mechanical equipment,
responsible for the set up and minor maintenance of the over wrap and L' seal machine used in packaging finished products. The Specialist will operate the machinery to produce quality products within established time standards while supporting a team environment.
To be trained and qualified by departmental leadership in the operation, cleaning, adjustment and minor maintenance of the Candy equipment; Trained and compliant with Lock-out/Tag-out procedures, Hazmat and allergen policies.
  • Performing physical activities that require considerable use of arms, legs and movement of whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, handling of materials, and lifting more than 30 pounds.
  • Working near moving mechanical parts
  • Will be working in dust noise and varied temperatures (65°- 95°), elevation up to 30 ft., and tight spaces.
  • Bakery Candy Kitchen Food Safety, Dress Code and Sanitation requirements must be followed.
  • Must be flexible to schedule changes to include weekend hours.
  • This is a safety sensitive position, subject to initial and follow-up drug testing.
  • Honest and respectful communication.
  • Compliance with company attendance standards.
