Overview

Through focused and consistent marketing communication of value propositions and positioning for Gallagher’s benefits, HR and talent management consulting practices, you will lead marketing strategies that foster business development and cross-solving efforts between all Benefits & HR practices (e.g., Employee Benefits, Retirement, HR & Compensation Consulting, etc.) and other Gallagher divisions.

You will work directly with Consulting Practice Leaders, Divisional and Enterprise Marketing Teams to deliver strategic, data-driven marketing programs that drive sales for these growing practices. How you'll make an impact

Gallagher's Senior Manager, Practice Marketing – Canada will analyze our current service/consulting offerings to develop marketing programs utilizing various types of deliverables to support new business development, accelerate opportunity velocity, and expand and retain existing business

Responsibilities:

  • Drives marketing strategy for designated consulting practice areas or client solutions of the benefits and HR consulting division – including talent management services.
  • Actively consults with consulting practice leadership as their go-to marketing lead, who leverages market intelligence, persona profiles and engagement data to determine practice thought leadership, sales and marketing strategies that will drive new lead generation, move opportunities through the sales pipeline quickly, and ensure retention of clients.
  • Coordinates consulting practice marketing programs including an editorial calendar (webinars, whitepapers, conference speaking submission deadlines and engagements, client seminars, etc.), omnichannel promotional plans, supporting collateral development and delivery. Owns project plans, timing and budgeting.
  • Drives and champions value proposition and positioning for consulting practices, solutions and expertise.
  • Develops data-based lead generation programs in collaboration with Campaign Management and Marketing Automation teams.
  • Works with Campaign Management team to consistently review program performance, using data and insights to adjust tactics, improve program performance, target best-suited potential opportunities. Delivers program reporting and engagement data to propel sales follow up. Surface results to key stakeholders and leadership and utilize for annual and ongoing planning.
  • Supports positioning and marketing of various client solutions and proprietary resources to competitively support Gallagher’s holistic consulting and data-driven approach to benefits and HR. 
  • Partners with in-house creative agency, Marketing Automation, Web and Social Media teams to integrate key messaging and positioning through all collateral materials and provide strategic direction empowering teams to develop copy for marketing communications deliverables including, email and web content, case studies, newsletters, brochures, and other materials as needed.
  • Coordinates the approval process with internal and external partners for project deliverables.
  • Leads strategy and planning for consulting practice tradeshow/conference participation. Partners with Divisional, Regional and Industry Vertical event teams as applicable on execution.

  • Bilingual, English and French required. English is required for this role to communicate regularly with mostly English-speaking clients in other provinces and team members in other regions where English is the primary language
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing communications or similar field.
  • 7 or more years related experience.
  • Growth marketing and content strategy experience.
  • Excellent, customer-centric oral and written communication skills in English and French, with an emphasis on grammar, copywriting and proofreading.
