What You'll Be Doing: * Install, configure, and maintain access control systems (ACS) and intrusion detection systems (IDS) in a variety of environments.
* Interpret and follow electrical wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical schematics to ensure accurate installations.
* Use a variety of power tools and hand tools to complete wiring, mounting, and equipment setup.
* Run and terminate cables, connect hardware, and verify system functionality through testing and troubleshooting.
* Identify and resolve issues during installation and service, ensuring systems are reliable and fully operational.
* Work closely with other technicians to coordinate tasks and maintain workflow.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety protocols and facility guidelines. What Required Skills You'll Bring: * Two-year technical degree or accredited apprenticeship program or equivalent work experience * At least two years in electronics technology * Experience terminating alarm devices, cameras, access control devices and CAT-5 cabling
* Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or as part of a team
* Skilled in the use of power tools and hand tools relevant to electrical/fabrication work
* Secret Clearance Required What Desired Skills You'll Bring: * Experience installing and servicing specific systems (e.g., Lenel, Bosch, Honeywell, HID, Genetec)
* Experience with access control hardware (electric strikes, maglocks, card readers, etc.)
