  • JOB DESCRIPTION DETAILS
    • Job Summary:
      • Maintains a safe and comfortable environment for patients. Reports observations and actions to the charge nurse. May be required to assist with de-escalation of combative behaviors.
    • Education:
      • Position requires a Bachelor’s degree, a Bachelors in human services field preferred.
    • Registration/Certification/Licensure:
      • None Specified
    • Experience:
      • Position requires a minimum of 6 months experience working in a patient-centered environment with preference given to experience working with patients who have behavioral health or addiction issues.
    • Other Requirements:
      • Maintains unit-specific and hospital competencies, mandatory learning, and any clinical certifications required in accordance with the Staff Education and Training policy GA-057 and/or any other department requirements.
      • Ability to effectively communicate with all patient populations.
      • Ability to appropriately apply restraint and seclusion procedures when necessary.
      • Ability to process patient information and perform assigned duties in a confidential, professional and empathetic manner.
      • Ability to operate internal computer systems and applications to effectively accomplish assigned duties.
