Posting Summary - Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Student Assistant to support the Office of Faculty Affairs within Rutgers Health. The primary responsibility of the Student Assistant is to provide day-to-day data entry of faculty transaction information, ensuring the timely and accurate entry of new or modified information for all faculty and units across Rutgers Health. The Student Assistant will help with data integrity measures to ensure up-to-date information.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Responsible for entering a variety of data points into the Faculty Information System (FIS), as well as daily log entries in Perceptive Content (PC), under the guidance of the Coordinator of Faculty Personnel Administration. Produces reports and audits information to ensure accuracy and integrity of data. Identifies potential issues and escalates to the team as necessary. Helps maintain records and files, as appropriate. Assists with general administrative tasks, as well as event preparation and execution across the Office of Academic Affairs.

Grade - 99H

Salary Details

Minimum Salary - 15.92

Mid Range Salary - 75.00

Maximum Salary - 150.00

Minimum Education and Experience - Must be a current Rutgers student. High school diploma required.

Certifications/Licenses

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Must be computer literate with proficiency and working knowledge of database and reporting tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint, Publisher. Excellent analytical ability, organizational, and communications skills are required. Ability to handle multiple projects at once in a highly pressured, executive environment, along with excellent interpersonal skills. A demonstrated ability to work independently and to collaborate effectively with others from a variety of disciplines is important.

Preferred Qualifications - Experience with webpage design and implementation preferred.
