HVAC Service Dispatcher
Full-Time Onsite - West Babylon, NY 

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Dispatcher to join our team. This is a fast-paced position that requires excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate has a strong background in dispatching HVAC service technicians, understands the unique challenges of servicing New York City and Long Island, and thrives in an environment where customer service and efficiency are top priorities.

What You'll Do

  • Dispatch HVAC service technicians for commercial and residential service calls throughout Long Island and New York City.
  • Coordinate technician schedules to maximize productivity and response times.
  • Prioritize emergency service requests while balancing preventive maintenance and scheduled work.
  • Communicate with customers regarding appointment times, technician arrival, and service updates.
  • Monitor technician progress throughout the day and adjust schedules as needed.
  • Work closely with service managers and field supervisors to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Enter and maintain accurate work order information in the dispatch software.
  • Assist with customer follow-up, scheduling, and resolving service-related issues.
  • Ensure all calls are dispatched accurately and completed according to company standards.

What You Bring

  • Minimum 5 years of HVAC dispatching experience is required.
  • Thorough knowledge of New York City and Long Island geography.
  • Experience dispatching multiple technicians in a high-volume service environment.
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and service management software (experience with Davisware Vision or ServiceTitan is a plus).
  • Customer-focused with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
