What You'll Do

In this role, you'll support our animal care teams by:

  • Assisting with the daily care and well-being of animals.
  • Cleaning and maintaining animal housing to support a healthy environment.
  • Safely moving animals and supplies throughout the facility, including operating a motorized transport buggy when trained.
  • Supporting animal husbandry activities as directed by experienced team members.
  • Maintaining clean and organized work areas.
  • Following animal welfare, biosecurity, workplace safety, and company procedures.
  • Working independently while collaborating with a supportive team.
  • Helping wherever needed to support the success of daily operations.

Schedule & Pay

School Year

  • Monday through Friday: 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
  • Saturdays: ย 6:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.

Summer

  • Additional hours are available based on business needs.

Pay

  • $17.00 per hour

Work Environment

This is an active, hands-on position where you'll spend much of your day moving throughout our facilities.

Team members can expect to:

  • Perform physical work, including lifting, moving, and cleaning.
  • Work in environments with varying temperatures.
  • Interact with animals throughout the workday.
  • Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including hearing protection when needed.
  • Operate a motorized transport buggy after receiving appropriate training.
